Mila Kapadia is 10 years old and finishing up fifth grade at PS 87.

She has been taking classical piano since the age of five at The School for Strings under the tutelage of Hungarian Pianist Marta Abraham.

Mila has performed at Carnegie Hall, The SFS Recital Chamber and PS 87's Annual Care Day.

She also volunteers at Sing For Hope- a non-profit that bring the arts to communities in need.

Mila is currently playing pieces from Suzuki Piano Book 3, Czerny, Kabalevsky and Burgmuller.

She was adopted at 19 months from an orphanage in India and hopes to eventually perform at a fundraiser for the institution- Kasturba Vikas Gruh.
